Through my lens
In December 2022, we launched a call for donations of photographic equipment.

Mission Statement and overall statement regarding the involvement of our Facebook group toward groups or individuals in the community in both New Zealand and Europe around the distribution of donations/koha of photographic hardware.

The WPC since inception has focused on bringing the joy of photography to those who either cannot afford it or those who are unable to access hardware.
John Meadows and Dave Vercoe, our original founders idea was to “pay it forward” to community groups, schools, individuals to give them this access and show them what magic can be done through the lens.

Depuis sa création, le WPC s'est attaché à apporter le plaisir de la photographie à ceux qui ne peuvent pas se le permettre ou à ceux qui n'ont pas accès au matériel.
John Meadows et Dave Vercoe, l'idée originale de nos fondateurs était de «donner au suivant» aux groupes communautaires, aux écoles, aux individus pour leur donner cet accès et leur montrer ce que la magie peut faire à travers l'objectif.
From late 2021 through to late 2022 this idea has grown with the help of Philippe Laruelle and with the valued input of Leanne Buchan. Late 2022 the seeds were fully developed and burst through into reality with donations from members of the WPC (Vicki Finlay) and also our group Captain, John’s estate upon his untimely passing in mid 2022.

We have now approached an organisation in Wellington, New Zealand with this impressive haul of hardware. Zeal NZ have the same values as our Facebook community, and we wish to support them where we can. If needed, we will donate our time and help the youth of Aotearoa to succeed in life and help them achieve their photographic dreams.

De fin 2021 à fin 2022, cette idée a grandi avec l'aide de Philippe Laruelle et avec la précieuse contribution de Leanne Buchan. Fin 2022, les graines ont été pleinement développées et ont éclaté dans la réalité grâce aux dons des membres du WPC (Vicki Finlay) et également de notre capitaine de groupe, John's Estate lors de son décès prématuré au milieu de 2022.

Nous avons maintenant approché une organisation à Wellington, en Nouvelle-Zélande, avec cet impressionnant transport de matériel. Zeal NZ a les mêmes valeurs que notre communauté Facebook, et nous souhaitons les soutenir là où nous le pouvons. Si nécessaire, nous donnerons de notre temps et aiderons les jeunes d'Aotearoa à réussir dans la vie et les aiderons à réaliser leurs rêves photographiques.
